We have just been made aware that FRED Dispense Plus is not able to generate a patient docket in the same manner as our existing FRED classic software. Our business operational model requires this functionality as a critical element of our clinical governance framework and data and privacy protection policies and procedures. I find it extremely frustrating that a key piece of functionality in an older version of software is not currently available in the version we will be “upgrading” to. I believe this is an area that FRED’s developers need to address as a matter of urgency and after having spoken with colleagues in other pharmacy groups, I have realised this lack of functionality is preventing some of these businesses from considering FRED Dispense Plus as an upgrade option. I am unsure whether you currently have some form of “workaround” for this situation, but for us to continue with the installation of Dispense Plus, we will urgently require a solution.
