Stocktake function should ignore "Committed" stock
The current stocktake feature as of 30/08/25 currently includes "Committed" stock (i.e. stock dispensed for a patient but not yet paid for) in the total SOH count.
e.g. Lets say I have 5 boxes of Lipitor 10mg on the shelf, AND I have x2 boxes of Lipitor 10mg on the pick up shelves dispensed for patients coming back later today to collect. If I started a stocktake and used the mobility scanner to count the 5 boxes on the shelf, then the Stocktake would have a "Counted" value of 5. This stocktake also has a "Committed" value of 2, which is correct. But then it will have a "SOH When Counted" value of 7, because for some reason this value thinks the SOH should be both the stock on the shelves as well as the "Committed" stock (I guess it is trying to count all physical boxes in the store? But I am not going to go through all the "Committed" stock to find/confirm if they are there). So then the stocktake has a "Difference" value of -2, because it will calculate "Counted" minus "SOH When Counted", i.e. 5 - 7 = -2. So what I have to do is manually add the "Committed" value onto the "Counted" value so the stocktake doesn't reduce my SOH by 2.
This seems extremely counter-intuitive. When we are doing a stocktake of the store, we only care about what is on the shelf, the "Available" stock. "Available" SOH is already a value on the stock card in Fred Office, and it is the 'SOH' value we see on Fred Dispense Plus, since it accurately tells you how much stock you have on the shelf available to dispense for patients.
Can you give me the option to ignore any "Committed" stock and make "SOH When Counted" use the "Available" stock card value instead. I only want to know what is on the shelf to accurately do a refill order. "Committed" stock is already dispensed and put away for the patient, so shouldn't be considered during a stocktake.
Regards,
Mark
