The order in which 30-day and 60-day options are displayed differs depending on the script type.
The order in which 30-day and 60-day options are displayed on the drug selection screen differs depending on the script type.
Example: Perindopril 10mg
When the script type is set to PBS, the list shows:
9008D Qty 30 (30-day script)
13555K Qty 60 (60-day script)
When the script type is set to Non-PBS, the list shows:
13555K Qty 30 (60-day script)
9008D Qty 30 (30-day script)
If a user scans a PBS script and for whatever reason, is retrieved as Non-PBS, they may manually select the top line assuming it’s the 30-day option. After changing the script type back to PBS, the script is processed as a 60-day script with Qty 60, which can lead to incorrect dispensing.
