GST in Appcat Bulk Change
I've noticed an issue with the GST settings on items matched to AppCat. When the GST is incorrect, I currently have to update each item individually, which is quite time-consuming. Is there a way to apply a bulk change using AppCat to update the GST status across multiple items?

4 votesSites need to manage the GST settings on their items. AppCAT receives Supplier files directly from a supplier and most do not have a GST flag available in the file.
This means Bulk settings would wipe the GST from an item if applied - hence why we do not have this available from an AppCAT bulk setting. We use a default setting in the AppCAT individual area but would still recommend reviewing line by line.
We recommend reviewing by invoice as this is generally the most accurate source of GST information.

Add a field to store List Cost
I want to have the LIST cost in the product and use it to apply the mark-up/gross-margin.
2 votesThanks for your feedback. For setting a price from list cost, I would suggest using pricing plan or applying via price review. The Item card shows the last updated cost, but you do not have to manage pricing in the item card.

When receiving in the add an item box
When receiving an invoice via a supplier, and when using the "add item" box, we add an item, but if you want to cancel that item in the add item box, it still will add one into the invoice list despite us canceling it, making it an inaccurate amount added to the invoice, which then makes it difficult and frustrating to find the extra added item and correct.

02478413861 voteThanks for your feedback. This function is setup to allow continuous scanning, hence why it always adds one to the invoice. Unfortunately - whilst your workflow is understandable, it cannot also allow a cancel. You would need to remove the incorrect Items from the grid for now. Entering 0 will not cancel as you have discovered.
We will review if we can make this clearer to the user.

the dispensing barcode needs to be activated so we can scan at the tills
It would be handy if staff could scan the dispense label at the till to bring up the sale. And if this barcode could link husband and wife medications together and bring up all meds for the sale. Would eliminate missed scripts not being paid for multiple customer baskets

fractional number in invoice
To be able to receive partial quantities in Fred Office invoice. For example Flu vaccine pack of 10 appears as 1 in Fred Office invoice, but we only received 2 injections transferred from another pharmacy. We could not input 0.2 into the invoice. It only accepts whole numbers!
1 voteThe system doesn't accept decimals, and at this stage we don't have a way to change this. You would need to create a second item that would be used for units. Then transfer as qty 2.

This control unfortunately doesn't have a way to change the default - however if you hit 'Y' on the keyboard, whilst No is highlighted - it will actually print.
Hopefully that assists for now

When merging ensure give an Appcat matching option to select
Currently, if you are in a stock card that you want to merge with another, assuming you are in the one you don't want to keep, you have the option to select which aliases to use, which SOH counts to use etc., however, if there are conflicts with APPCAT matching, it appears to select the stock card you are in rather than giving you the option to match to the stock card you are merging with. I think usually you are opening the stock card that is causing the problem and finding the correct one rather than the other way…

OPTION to create/convert all drug cards to UPPER CASE
i hate using the system in normal caps, then have to put caps lock on when creating a new otc card/shelf ticket. It should standardise my shelf tickets and drug cards to always been in CAPITALS

Department/Category selections
An option to search/filter for available item categories in stock cards would be useful. Finding the relevant category for unusual/uncommon items can be tedious because options appear based on the department selected.
Additionally an option to create your own departments/categories would be great.

Dispense labels print by generic name
for dispensaries organized by generic rather than brand, having the label say the brand name makes things harder to find. The stock card is linked to Fred item which includes the generic name, could a label type be set to print then generic name instead?

Account Pop up notifications in POS
Would like to implement pop up messages for specific accounts at the point of sale.
Similar to the item message field in item cards.

While images are not able to be attached at this time, we would love you to still share your idea either as a short description if possible. Alternatively, one way to include an image with your idea is to use the Fred Help Portal (accessed as an icon within Fred Office and Dispense) to request a Fred Help Consultant to create your idea on your behalf (once posted by the consultant, you will see your idea in UserVoice and the product team will have the image to view the additional detail). When capturing your image, you can drag and drop into the ticket request for us to view. -
Ability to set a Pack size to accomodate ordering carton QTY and selling individual units
Users need an option to set a pack size on an item card so that it will adjust the suppliers invoice cost - when the invoice cost is for the Carton QTY - to the unit cost (ie divide Carton cost by pack size specified). This will allow stores to sell product as a single unit without the cost price being greater than the retail price.
1 voteWe have the ability to set pack qty in the Item card under Inventory & Ordering menu, under Supplier.
This will then show in the draft as the user creates their order.
