[OLD] Dispense Label: Design, Options & Print Logic
Firstly, you are unable to print on small labels, the PDE does not print on the label, fonts are a little small and it is also difficult to read the claim number on the labels
Also, can the script number /dispense date/ pharmacist initials be set to print on small label in top right of F5 label?
When using dispensing small items i.e eye drops we would like to use the small bottom label on the drug, and then stick the top right label on the duplicate.
Potentially add these options in Admin>Dispense Options

diary note
Can you please make the diary note pop up when fred first opens like it use to on fred dispense? And maybe a short cut button to it somehow?
It is a very important function to us as it is our primary form of communications.
Thank you5 votesThe diary should pop up if there’s a note for the day, and CTRL-Y is the shortcut : https://webhelp.fred.com.au/frednxt/Dispense/dispense-diary.htm?Highlight=diary

Bring back "CTR + S" to save patient details in "Patient Maintenance" (F8).
Bring back "CTR + S" to save patient details in "Patient Maintenance" (F8) instead of clicking on the "Save" button. The function should be available to save time instead of moving the mouse to save patient profile.
2 votesDoes using the END key work instead?

Is there a way to print address labels from a patient without having to go into editing a script?
There's way too much button clicks to do it via editing a script. Gets very tedious doing dozens of times a day.
2 votesThere is no need to edit the script. You can press CTRL + D once the patient is selected or Activities menu -> Address Label

Showing copy of Escript details when scanning dispense label
With various other dispense systems (e.g. Z , Aquarius just to name a couple) after dispensing an E-script, a pharmacist can simply scan the barcode on the dispense label and it will show a visual copy of the E-script to help with checking the dispensed e-script. Currently with Fred-NXT, we have to go into MEDVIEW FLOW to print or view the e-script to check the script details, which is particularly time consuming especially if patient has multiple e-scripts to check
2 votesWe already do this - take a look at https://webhelp.fred.com.au/dispense/Dispense/final-check.htm

Might you enhance this forum by allowing us to add screen captures to our posts?

Owing for Schedule 8 medicines
Is there a way to filtering the script owing report to show only specific medications. Mainly for Schedule 8's for when we have dispensed off a fax/email and waiting for the original paperwork. But it would be great if this could be extended to high value medications as well.
1 voteYou can achieve this using the List of Scripts and filtering. Our Fred support team can help you if you are stuck

owing script shortcut
Would it be possible to allow us to enter a script as owing in the repeat field (i.e. 0O) rather than the drop down status menu, which is slower? Similar to we do with a deferred script as 5D.

reports search with ?
The ? function on reports doesn't appear to report on all instances of the partial drug name. e.g. amox? In Classic is used to report on all products containing amoxycillin. In Plus it seems to force you to make a single drug selection
1 voteYou do have the option to select multiple drugs or all (via the tick box at the top) when searching with an asterisk e.g. simvar*

Report of Patients flagged as CTG
It would be beneficial to be able to see the patients that have the CTG flag on.
-- Similar to the Repeats Held report (Reports > Patient > List of Patient > Scripts on File)
With the addition of Number of Script dispense as CTG as a column.Recently, there has been request from government bodies for this information and we have been unable to provide a truly accurate figure.
1 voteWe've introduced a new report that hopefully does what you're after. You'll need to add in the column "CTG Script".
