Escripts to show "doctor's notes"
Request to have the Doctor's notes field appear in the eScript information box in Fred Dispense Plus. This information is available in other dispense softwares.
We had an incident where a psychostim script was missing CA authority. The prescriber was adamant that she had noted it down. We then dispensed the scripts at another pharmacy (different software) and could view the doctor had written the CA code in "doctors notes"
"Doctors notes" also shows up on medview. It would be helpful for it to appear on fred dispense plus too as we don't use medview often.

sig "se" "Script expires after <DATE>" should be "Script expires ON <DATE>"
The default sig "se" - "Script expires after <DATE>" should be "Script expires ON <DATE>". Because the script actually expires ON the date of script written 6 months (S8) or 12 months (S4) after.
For eg. we were trying to dispense an S8 script written back in 19/10/2022 on 19/4/23 but the escript had become inaccessible as the system recognised it as expired.
Is it possible to amend your programming to reflect that?

We couldn't reproduce this issue and haven't had anyone else report this issue.
You should be able to dispense it on the 19/4/2023. If this ever happens again, can you please contact our help desk so that we can troubleshoot the issue. UserVoice isn't suited for troubleshooting issues

Patient History should show if an item has been dispensed with GST (like Fred Classic)
Fred Dispense Plus does not show in the patient history if an item was dispensed with GST. Some items need to be dispensed that have GST (e.g. OTC items etc). In Fred Dispense Classic, a small + symbol appears next to the price to indicate that it is "GST-inclusive". There does not appear to be any indication of this in Fred Dispense Plus, and so you have to either go back in and "edit" the item to see if GST has been flagged, or print a patient receipt. This increases the likelihood of GST and charging errors by the pharmacy.

Apply GST to Patient Price (default setting) - Missing From Fred Dispense Plus
Fred Dispense Plus is missing the option to set "Apply GST to Patient Price" that is still an option in Fred Classic. This is done through the "Extra Information" tab in the patient profile. This function is essential if you are dispensing items to an organisation or corporate client who is not the end user of the product. It is incredibly inconvenient to "ALT-G" for each individual item you dispense to the organisation, especially when you are dispensing many at a time.

Ability to add own allergies
Some allergies, such as Elastoplast, are not included in the current list of allergies within Fred Plus. The user would like to have the ability to "free type"/add their own allergies.

Changing quantity and repeats remaining on an Eprescription
Sometimes patients request to get a smaller quantity with an increased number of repeats compared to what Dr prescribes. (eg, Dr prescribes qty 30 with 0 repeats, but patient asks pharmacy to dispense qty 10 with 2 repeats)
Currently, in such a scenario, details on the eRx message are not updated with new quantity and repeats remaining. This causes an issue, especially when dispensing outside repeat eScripts with such change.
To prevent the issue, the system should block the repeats fields from being edited on ePrescrition.
7 votesWe'll investigate how this can be done for an ePrescription

Print patient barcode on address labels to scan at POS
Fred Classic Dispense Address Labels can print a patient barcode on the Main Fred Dispense Label (above the patient number) allowing users to scan the label at the register to call up their scripts waiting at the till instead of typing the Patient Name in the search field. Can this be added to Fred Dispense Plus as well?

AppBar Edit Options: To update the icon, image, text. i.e Project Stop
For example, we added the epothecary.com.au as a webpage link but no way to get the Project Stop icon to display or enter the description of what that tile does. Used generic "Paperclip" icon so tile wasn't blank, but you have to click the tile to find out what it does.

Ability to apply colours to script types in drug selection screen
In Fred Dispense when selecting a drug Private scripts came up in blue and NHS in red. Would like the ability for this to be included into FredNXT.

New Patient: Entering the Medicare number recommend a workflow review
When entering a new patient, the curser doesn’t move through the Medicare card input and can be missed which results in having to return to update the patient details after saving.

wait Screen Display Private or PBS Script
On the wait screen, we should be able to tell whether the dispensed drug is a Private or PBS script.

Default repeats to NHS Maximum option to choose yes or no
Would like to disable default repeats to NHS Maximum option when dispensing so repeats are not accidentally put in incorrectly.

Update private dispense workflow to enter drug before price
The private pricing box is confusing where the curser lands. It would be better if the curser stayed in the patient pricing box and replicated changed in the pricing window that opens.
4 votesThanks for the feedback. We’ll review the current implementation to see how we can improve the pricing screen experience.
