Private pricing based on weighted average
At present a private script is priced on last cost (if not zero). I have my costing set to weighted average. This should be chosen or ... have an option to choose either.

Please consider printing on the labels of e-script items where the repeat has gone. Paper, SMS or emailed. Patients often don't know.
I understand that space on the labels is tight, but having it printed on the label where the repeat has been issued to will help patients locate their future tokens.

PBS Status Tile
The PBS status tile is not updated in real time on all Fred+ instances. This is most annoying when one sees that the tile is RED but on going into the claim screen there is no error.

Order of drug names on repeat
As it is possible to choose the order of generic and trade names on the label, it would be useful to have this option on the repeat authorisation too!

Add an indication if the scripts are paper or electronic in the embedded dispense queue
When viewing the embedded MedView Flow Queue during dispensing there is no indication if the scripts are paper or electronic. For example, if there was a "M" for manual entry this would alert the pharmacist/dispenser to go straight to the manual basket to collect the script.

Extemps
Whilst the Extemp pricing works fine for PBS items, it is lacking in simplicity for private items. There has to be an easier way to privately price 500g of "bollocks" ointment.
All I want to do is a private ointment, 500g at $25.00. I dont care about the cost; I just want to set a price at $25.00. The hoops that I have to jump through to get close to this price (and this qty - yep, I make it a qty=1 and in the description add 500g) are unnecessary.5 votesThanks for the idea – could use a BLANK dispense in the interim.

Patient history highlight e for escript
When looking at Patient history in F2 in Fred dispense, can the escript be highlighted as the e is very small. Like owing and deferred scripts colours, very difficult to quickly scan for e

Dont send script to till if PBS-Online rejection
Even the best dispensing practices can lead to the occasional rejected script hitting the tills. No one is perfect. So with this in mind, it would be nice if a rejected script did not hit the till until cleared by a pharmacist. That is to say, either
- It gets "fixed" or ...
- It gets approved to go to the till (for whatever reason).
Either way, having rejected scripts hitting the till is quite annoying.

Automatically Drop ZZ script rule from directions when dispensing repeats
When using ZZ to mark off owing prescriptions post conversion, it should automatically drop the ZZ in the directions when dispensing the repeat.
This behaviour is seen in Fred Classic13 votes -

Barcode on labels hard to scan
Is it just me or is it hard for the scanners to pick up the barcode on the dispensing labels? I have tried changing the darkness, orientation of the label, different scanners etc etc etc. And the scanners have not changed with the switch to Fred Dispense Plus. Case in point is that I can easily scan labels produced on Classic.
Any ideas?

Cost Price & SOH: Position not helpful during dispensing
Currently too small and would be better under and next to set price.
The script pricing and SOH tiles would be better adjacent to the script override pricing box. Needing to look to the right to find the tile.
When the drug is selected, have the ACTUAL COST and SOH to be highlighted in larger font in their respective tiles.
This is used for every script so needs to be easy to see.

CTRL-J wipes the autofill
If i need to clear the directions using CTRL-J, then arrow UP to drug window, then back down to directions, the automatic "Take" is missing, and it wont autofill tablet/capsule etc. FRED classic would autofill and add the Take etc.

Sigs - can we do better?
Might you consider changing the direction of the sigs "d" and "od" from "daily" to "Once a day". I base this request on the following.
In Australian Pharmacist VOLUME 41 : NUMBER 2 : APRIL 2018, it was noted that
"three cases of paediatric dosing errors involving prednisolone.
In each case, parents administered prednisolone three times a day rather than daily as intended. While the directions on the label appeared to be correct – for example ‘give 3 mL daily after food for three days’ – they were misinterpreted"4 votes -
Have option to "Set this account to autocharge"
Could we please have this option appear at the end of dispensing a script for dispense patients who are linked to an account who are not already set to autocharge. This would be beneficial rather than needing to go to extra details manually to set the account as autocharge.
