Pop up note
I was wondering if we could have a note that is a little harder to bypass compared to the red pop up note where you have to type 'c' to continue. Perhaps another skin where you can type the note which pops up when looking up the patient, but to continue you have to type out a specific word. The reason it has become quite routine to hit 'c' to get passed that note, and now we don't read the note as often as we should.

Highlight new medication in dispensing window to help make it stand out
Presently the new medication shows up in bold in the dispensing field but when you change brands or strengths it appears in orange. It would be good if the box could be filled with a colour to help make it stand out better.

Print out the actual quantity of the pack on the dispense label
Print out the actual quantity of the pack on the dispense label when dispensing for multiple pack items - not the total quantity on each of the labels

If a drug has many ancillary labels, the script number on the dispense label prints in a non-bold and very small font
If a drug has many ancillary labels, the script number on the dispense label prints in a non-bold and very small font.
For example, Twynsta tablets require ancillary labels #11, 12+, 16+, 18, 21, 9, and A, which results in the script number appearing in a small non-bold font on dispense labels that users find hard to read.

Allow PDE numbers to be entered when using blank drug descriptions
When using the 'blank' drug options to dispense a non FRED listed item eg OTC, there should be a manual option to enter the PDE of that product to allow the POS system to recognise the product to allow correct SOH corrections.

Add keyboard shortcuts to final check screen
Would like keyboard shortcuts added to finalcheck screen. E.g. press 'e' to edit from finalcheck; press 'S' to open scancheck. Have them underlined like in the wait Screen.

System sigs need correct grammar if they can't be changed please!
I've seen the earlier comments about refusing to change the system sigs or making them editable (maybe even for the administrator only?)
The issue is some of them just look silly... The system sigs have incorrect grammar or just look silly if used where they are intended to go. I know I can make custom digs but the dispene techs will follow what comes up in fred dispense plus ancilliary labels when they process a script.2 votesThank you for feedback, Can you please give us examples where the grammar is incorrect so that we can correct them for all users

Should not allow expired S8 scripts to be dispensed
Fred Dispense Plus displays a prompt asking the user if they would like to continue dispensing. If the user selects "Yes" in response to that prompt, they are able to proceed with dispensing. It shouldn't allow it in any circumstances (Classic doesn't allow this option).
Furthermore the dialog box is grey, and looks the same as the SN20D prompt which is also grey and can easily press yes accidentally.
For legal and safety purposes could this prompt be red in colour or to remove the ability to dispense expired S8 scripts altogether.

NSW Health Authority to prescribe
My idea is to have an automatic prompt for psychostimulants to enter the NSW state authority to prescribe number to ensure legal state requirements are met on the prescription.

incorrect brand scan
Is it possible to approve a scanned item, with a different colour tick for example, even if it is a different brand? It would highlight that the drug, form and dose are correct but just incorrect brand match.

The option to print WARD code on the small dispensing label
It would be great to have the WARD code print on the small dispensing label like you can choose to have it print on the main dispensing label.

Can we have the option to add a shipping address and the option to print on address label
We would like to have the option to add and print a shipping address label. Sometimes we send medication to a patient's work address or if they are on holidays to their alternate address. This helps identification when we do our second check to make sure a package is going to the right address.

Search patient by phone number
Please allow a function to search by phone number, this is super useful in Z Dispense, and was one of the cited reasons my old pharmacy chose to go with Z over Fred. Should be easy enough to do right

Set pricing for private eRx scanned scripts to be $0.17 dearer to cover eRx fee for private prescriptions
With eRx fee introduction for eRx barcode scanned scripts can a feature be implemented where we can pass on these costs to the patient's script pricing? i.e. private price for eRx be $0.17 more expensive but not affect private scripts that are manually dispensed
