Allow the patient search field to match against the Medicare names
When entering name to search for a new patient, the system could flag matches against the medicare last name or medicare first name fields in addition to the normal name fields. The matches perhaps could show lower in the list of matches but still be there.
Consider this example: Mr Robert Smith, who everyone calls Bob.
- If we enter him as Bob Smith, with a medicare first name of Robert, but the Dr writes a script as Robert Smith. We type in "smith r" and don't get a match so we type all his details in and only when…3 votesThank you for your feedback

Both Dispenser and Responsible initials to print larger
Like the Dispense Option to print both Responsible and Dispenser initials but having this set to "both" makes the initials print too small. Can we have both initials show in same font size (maybe side by side)

Drug search display all results then reduce as more letters added
When manually searching for drugs the list should populate with all matching results then reduce as you type more letters/details.
This will help reduce errors when manually searching generic drug name as you currently have to press enter before results are displayed.
If a spelling mistake has been made you have to esc to retype,

Duplicate Label Customisation
Ability to change the Large Duplicate to not contain the patient's name when Small Duplicate is enabled. This reduces the need to dispose of labels in the confidentiality bin meaning less overhead for the store.

Promotion price to display when dispensing an S3 or OTC item on sale
If site has Fred Office and Fred Dispense it would be great when dispensing an S3 or OTC item that is on catalogue for this price to be visible in Dispense. Currently only shows the normal retail price and not the price advertised on the sale shelf ticket

I'd like to add my own warnings to FRED drugs. I put my own sigs into the drug warnings so when S3 items are dispensed, I can easily check if there's any preset sigs that I can just pull up.

A feature to calculate recommended dosage of oral antibiotics based on weight
User would like a feature which calculates recommended dosage of oral antibiotics based on weight
Workflow would be
- Select an oral antibiotics (Amoxil 125mg/5mls) in Fred Dispense Plus
- Clink on a button to activate this feature
- User enters the weight of the child
- Fred dispense calculates and displays the recommended dosage range in mls (eg recommended dosage = 2.5mls to 7.5 mls tds) based on the entered weight

FREDPAK integration
Fred Dispense Plus and Fredpak seems to only have 1 way communication at the moment. ie You need to create a new "nursing home" from Fred Dispense Plus in order for it to appear in Fredpak and work properly but you cannot create the "nursing home" in Fredpak for it to appear in Fred Dispense Plus like the Classic do. Is there any plans to integrate this better?

integrate with scypt pay or some kind of payment gateway
Z can now integrate with Srypyt (which Fred has been "gunna" do for about 3 years). They can now text for payment and it links directly to the til. Would make deliveries and things that we send out SO much easier

Price window to change colour if price is below certain GP
It would be good if the price window could change colour eg. become red if the price is below a certain GP and green if the GP is OK

Make overlaying windows more obvious (e.g. patient history)
Windows such as initial patient history is currently grey and aligned to dispense area - would be good if this border was a brighter colour (not/blue grey). Looks like the program is frozen when trying to dispense and history is up. Maybe a flash of the window or small shake would help to indicate that the window needs to be closed to continue

Continued dispensing workflow
When clicking on the continued dispense option, dispense screen should stay in the patient you were in and not clear the screen so you have to enter patient details again

fred customer portal
When Fres Customer Portal button is clicked in Fred Plus, the resulting screen is lost easily if the mouse is clicked outside the screen. Consequently, it brings user back to square one. One alternative is to have the app. opened in our preferred browser like Fred Classic ensure that the screen does not close if we are attending to other matters simultaneously.

FRED videos - playback speed 1.5x or 2x
Can all the videos on the FRED website (dispense, office etc) have playback speed added to them, so we can watch the videos on 1.5x or 2x and thus save time.

Allowable additional patient charge
Currently, in Fred Dispense Plus, the allowable additional patient charge is set globally under the Administration > pricing options.
As the 60-day medicine dispensing policy is about to be introduced, users would like a new setting that allows the allowable additional patient charge to be applied based on the type of prescription. For instance, if the prescription is a 30-day supply script, the system would automatically set the allowable additional patient charge to $0.00. On the other hand, if the prescription is a 60-day supply script, the system would apply the maximum allowable additional patient charge of $3.29.

Important PBS warnings to pop up
The user is seeking a way to ensure that crucial PBS warnings like W323 are prominently displayed on the screen, similar to how PBS rejections trigger a prominent red error message. In a busy pharmacy setting, it can be challenging to click on an exclamation mark for each prescription with a warning in order to view the details of the warning.
