Changing quantity and repeats remaining on an Eprescription
Sometimes patients request to get a smaller quantity with an increased number of repeats compared to what Dr prescribes. (eg, Dr prescribes qty 30 with 0 repeats, but patient asks pharmacy to dispense qty 10 with 2 repeats)
Currently, in such a scenario, details on the eRx message are not updated with new quantity and repeats remaining. This causes an issue, especially when dispensing outside repeat eScripts with such change.
To prevent the issue, the system should block the repeats fields from being edited on ePrescrition.

When looking at Patient history in F2 in Fred dispense, can the escript be highlighted as the e is very small. Like owing and deferred scripts colours, very difficult to quickly scan for e

Accidentally deleted Diary notes

PDE number on wait screen
Would it be possible to add the wholesaler PDE number to the screen that appears once the script is dispensed? Currently the label appears and the following tiles: coding sticker, warnings, safety net, CMI. It would be very beneficial for ordering products we do not keep and more importantly high cost fridge items which we cannot return. We usually dispense the item first obtain the PDE number and then use this to enter into our wholesaler portal to double check we have the correct product.

Ability to centrally add note to drugs
Note pops up in Dispense Plus when dispensing a drug i.e. Dispense Prolia note advices Pharmacists of a patient programs service. This have been set centrally and pushed to participating pharmacies.

Label showing * for auto charge even if script not charged to account
Site have script rule set up that if account is under credit limit and script charge would take it over the limit it does not auto charge and sends to the till.
There is no prompt/indicator that it went over the credit limit and the label also still has an * which is an indicator of autocharge.
Can we get a prompt that if the account goes over the credit limit it allows to override or confirm send to the till and then print no * on the label if it does send to the till.

I would like you to add more patient search options, eg. concession number, DOB.
We have a lot of Nguyen's in our demographic and the first names and middle names are often similar and interchangeable and they often have different addresses. I believe the Z dispense already have these search functions.7 votes -
Option to remove pdl warning pop ups
Can we please have an option to remove the PDL warning pop ups like in dispense classic? Otherwise it leads to click-fatigue which then means staff miss other important messages.

the tile for patient notes needs to be brighter colour.
eg, if we put a comment there, eg, preferns no plastic bag,

Have option to "Set this account to autocharge"
Could we please have this option appear at the end of dispensing a script for dispense patients who are linked to an account who are not already set to autocharge. This would be beneficial rather than needing to go to extra details manually to set the account as autocharge.

Check escript when scanning label
Be able to check an escript when the label is scanned immediately after dispensing. Having to go into "final check" is an extra unnecessary step especially when you are the dispensing pharmacist. MINFOS have this ability already.

Escripts to show "doctor's notes"
Request to have the Doctor's notes field appear in the eScript information box in Fred Dispense Plus. This information is available in other dispense softwares.
We had an incident where a psychostim script was missing CA authority. The prescriber was adamant that she had noted it down. We then dispensed the scripts at another pharmacy (different software) and could view the doctor had written the CA code in "doctors notes"
"Doctors notes" also shows up on medview. It would be helpful for it to appear on fred dispense plus too as we don't use medview often.

Better use of the Warnings tile to display associated custom Sigs
Would like a way to show custom sigs associated with drugs (particularly S3 ?items)
Suggest to display this in the Warnings tile where we don't look at all details (e.g. S/Care suggestions)e.g. ?dispense an S3 (ventolin)

Correct SafetyNet relationships printed on PRF
When reaching the SafetyNet, the Relationship field of the patient currently in use is defaulted to 'Applicant' on the PRF.
Can this either be defaulted to the data in the 'Family Indicator' field in Patient Maintenance; or the Family Details list on the PRF sorted to have the family 'Head' default to the 'Applicant'.
Medicare have advised me that they will reject incorrect relationships, including the use of the word 'Applicant' as opposed to 'Head, Spouse, Dependant Child or Dependant Student'.
