  1. For some drugs, like Methadone and Suboxone, users would like to set the price to $0.00 from the drug cards. However, $0.00 is not currently allowed as a valid set price. Users would like $0.00 to be a valid set price so that they don't have to manually update the patient price to $0.00 each time dispensing those items.

  2. Directions are disabled when dispensing prescriber bag items, however some of the default sigs do not make sense. Either have no sigs and leave the directions empty, or allow editing.

  3. Users would like the eScript image in the final check screen to show the patient's Medicare number so that pharmacists can confirm the escript was dispensed under the correct patient profile.

  4. Currently, there is an option to print out the Copy of Prescription / Evidence of Prescription from the wait screen under Printing options > More options.

This option greys out and becomes unavailable if the script does not have any repeat remaining (ie last repeat script or original script with 0 repeats)

  5. After filtering rejected scripts in the PBS claim screen, editing one of the rejected scripts clears that filter. Users need to set the filter again to locate the remaining rejected scripts. This becomes very repetitive especially when there are many rejected scripts that need to be reclaimed. The system should remember the filter even after editing a script.

Thanks for the suggestion, we'll look to implement in a future release

  6. If a customer has more than 1 e-script to scan, there should be a button in Fred Dispense Plus to click to open up a space where they (customer) can just keep scanning multiple e-scripts, one after one, for them to queue up. At the moment, this can only be achieved via medview web or pharmacist clicking at the "+" button after every time they finish scanning 1 code.

  7. When doing a DOT dispensing through Quantum, we should be able to turn off the interactions checker and the history pop-up. When DOT dispensing a few hundred scripts, it adds a great deal of time to the dispensing process.

Seeking User Feedback  ·  Jason responded

Not our preferred workflow due to the clinical safety issues but keen to hear what other users think.

  8. Any idea when real-time messaging on all terminals will happen. By real-time I mean
    1. Claim tile changing to green when someone on another terminal fixes the issue or, indeed, to reflect the current status of the claim
    2. The eRx queue
    3. The dispense list (wait screen)

    etc

Thanks for the suggestion - we'll consider this in our future planning.

  9. There is an option for reporting drugs ranking, but there isn't any option to set or reset the drug ranking from a previous report (similar to FRED classic).

  10. I have been STRONGLY urged to scan items in Dispensing Process. This after action from PHARMACY board. It is inconceivable that this is not part of Current program

Board will be VERY concerned .. FIX this before you do anything else

  11. When the user dispenses a private script and tabs across to the patient price field, the Pricing Details screen opens up. In this screen, the system automatically highlights the line with the lowest markup and changes the patient price to that price.

Users would like the system to always highlight the default markup line so that the patient price stays at that default price when accessing the Pricing Details screen.

  12. Restore FRED dispensing Classic printing information for both label and repeat.
The new repeat and label formats are:
    1. hard to read and messy
    2. do not have wholesaler PDE
    3. take more room (need more than 1 label for the same information)

Might be worthwhile checking for a null wildcard drug search (%%) as such a search leads to a time-out.

  20. Sometimes patients request to get a smaller quantity with an increased number of repeats compared to what Dr prescribes. (eg, Dr prescribes qty 30 with 0 repeats, but patient asks pharmacy to dispense qty 10 with 2 repeats)

Currently, in such a scenario, details on the eRx message are not updated with new quantity and repeats remaining. This causes an issue, especially when dispensing outside repeat eScripts with such change.

To prevent the issue, the system should block the repeats fields from being edited on ePrescrition.

We'll investigate how this can be done for  an ePrescription
