Thanks for the post, great suggestion. We’ll see if we can include in a future release.

  2. In Fred Dispense (classic), when creating a new patient or when updating patient details, I could type the facility fast code into the address search to populate the address details with the nursing home's address. This was useful for managing new patients in the nursing home

  3. Patient history/compliance check shows previous pricing but this could be clearer.
Perhaps the current script could be highlighted in a different colour in the dispense history (e.g. yellow)

I'd like to option to be notified/warned when patient price has changed since the last dispensing.

quantities from 1 tablet to 49 tablets to be $X.XX

  6. When searching for a drug in the Drugs List, there is not Stock on hand column. I can see it when using F7 or when dispensing but seeing it in the drug list search will help me identify which items need to priced (the ones with SOH showing)

  7. There are just over 40 drugs that are on the Prescriber Bag list (https://www.pbs.gov.au/browse/doctorsbag)

Change the workflow so that you do not need to search for each drug. When a drs bag script is presented click the seach button in FD+ and display the dull Prescribers Bag list of items.
Select the prescribed/ordered drugs by 'ticking' each item. Then have the ability to dispense in bulk.
All these drugs will have the same date, same prescriber, no directions and are $0.00 this will help streaming the processes for these scripts.

  8. User would like an option to generate a report on scripts that are final checked.

User wants something similar to the "scan check statistics report" but for final checked scripts

  9. When entering patient and prescriber telephone numbers they should be automatically separated into shorter blocks of digits or ‘chunks’.

Telephone numbers are easier to read and confirm when their digits are chunked, rather than appearing in one large group as they are now.

Australian telephone numbers in general use have no more than 10 digits and the software should prompt you if you have missed entering a digit:

Landlines – 2 digits for the area code followed by 8 digits for the rest of the telephone number i.e., 02 XXXX XXXX .

Mobiles – 10 digits (there is no area…

  10. Can we please have an option to remove the PDL warning pop ups like in dispense classic? Otherwise it leads to click-fatigue which then means staff miss other important messages.

  11. Before finishing dispensing an E-Script, have it clearly shown in Patient Details where any repeat will go (i.e PRINT, SMS, MySL, etc).
This should save time correcting after the fact.

Seeking User Feedback  ·  Jason responded

The preference is shown just underneath the blue patient banner. Does it need to be more prominent?

  12. Ability to Create a MedsIndex within Fred Dispense Plus allowing the monitoring of multiple medications repeat refill intervals giving the pharmacy the ability to support their patient needs.
Would like a Medication Summary of all medications a patient is on with a score. Like the one available in Fred Dispense Classic

  13. When printing labels for a script with multiple packs it would be nice to be able to specify how many tablets are in each box.
eg. Total quantity 90 tablets (product comes as box of 20). FRED would allow you to specify 20, 20, 20, 20 and 10 quantity on each label.

  14. After filtering rejected scripts in the PBS claim screen, editing one of the rejected scripts clears that filter. Users need to set the filter again to locate the remaining rejected scripts. This becomes very repetitive especially when there are many rejected scripts that need to be reclaimed. The system should remember the filter even after editing a script.

Thanks for the suggestion, we'll look to implement in a future release

  15. Sometimes patients request to get a smaller quantity with an increased number of repeats compared to what Dr prescribes. (eg, Dr prescribes qty 30 with 0 repeats, but patient asks pharmacy to dispense qty 10 with 2 repeats)

Currently, in such a scenario, details on the eRx message are not updated with new quantity and repeats remaining. This causes an issue, especially when dispensing outside repeat eScripts with such change.

To prevent the issue, the system should block the repeats fields from being edited on ePrescrition.

We'll investigate how this can be done for  an ePrescription

  16. In the PBS Claiming window, there are UG prescriptions which have been rejected, however these shouldn't be able to be claimed for anyway which causes confusion

Thanks for the post. It’s in our plans to re-look at this to keep further improving it.

  19. Are we able to have the patient's AIR details show up in one of the widgets in the side bar - this will allow us to see if patients have had a flu vaccine or Shingles vaccines all in the one spot

  20. Be able to check an escript when the label is scanned immediately after dispensing. Having to go into "final check" is an extra unnecessary step especially when you are the dispensing pharmacist. MINFOS have this ability already.
